2021 Adjacency

This red blend is mostly comprised of Delaplane’s press fraction wine, providing further extraction of acid and tannin by gently pressing the skins post-fermentation. The blend is predominantly Cabernet Franc (60%), with Merlot (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), and Petit Verdot (5%) following behind. On the nose, notes of cranberry, baking spices, and cigar box make way to a delightful palate of bright red cherry, rose petal and vanilla bean. With an approachable body, fruit-forward acidity and a mellow finish, this wine pairs well with poultry dishes and potlucks.
